  Love going to El Nopal on Newcut.  It is close to home, service is always good and food is always good and plentiful.  We are able to share a dish and with the chips and salsa always have plenty of food.  On our recent visit we split a vegetarian option that came with a cheese quesadilla, a bean and cheese burrito, beans and rice.  It comes with a white cheese sauce and is delicious.  There is plenty of parking and the wait staff are always friendly and efficient.  The manager walks around and checks on customers to make sure you have what you need. The pricing is in line with other family run Mexican restaurants so you don't have to spend an arm and a leg for Mexican food.  The place is clean and spacious so you don't usually have to wait for a table. In the spring/summer there is outdoor seating.  and usually there are drinks specials.  My husband is a margarita drinker and he enjoys them there. Nice place for a family dinner.

  This is always a great Mexican food experience. I really love the atmosphere and the service is fast. They offer big 36 ounce beers for cheap price as well.
  I usually get the combination number 11, which is one burrito, one taco, and one enchilada. It is so good for $8.99. With all that food and free chips and salsa this is an excellent deal.
  My whole family loves it here and we will be back soon. OLE!

  We frequently go here as our "neighborhood " restaurant.  Good food, margarita specials and friendly staff.... how could you go wrong.  This is a great place to go with large groups.  They have a back room that works well for larger parties especially with kids.

  The food was very good. The service was mediocre at best.  I have always been a fan of El Nopal, but this will be my last trip to an El Nopal.   They are now charging for refills.   Your drink is $2.49 for a soda which is above average pricing to begin with and then they charge $2.49 per refill.   One of my party had water and had a refill on their water and they tried to charge her almost $5 for water.   Now considering that soda cost restaurants about $.30 per glass you would have to have about 8 refills in order to even make the initial $2.49 let alone charging for refills.  It really makes me wonder whether or not the company is coming into some serious financial hardship.  In any case though, this has always been and is now a VERY bad business practice and restaurants who charge for refills on fountain drinks I will not patronize or recommend.  So El Nopal has lost a long time customer and likely will lose a lot more with this sort of business practice.

  Fernando is the best and his margaritas are awesome! Not machine made! The taco soup is my go to but there are tons of tasty options here. Ask for the Salsa  Especial (you will love it)!!
